Former WFB HS teacher turns 99

Tim Burr '57 shared that WFBHS GRADS might like to know that Norb Studelska, who taught World History for many years at WFB HS, turned 99  August 5, 2024. He is in remarkably good shape living in Grafton. Norb (he insists on being called "Norb" now) was a paratrooper in WWII and participated in Operation Market Garden (made famous in the movie, A BRIDGE TOO FAR) and the Battle of the Bulge. Alumni Tim Burr '57, Tom Stone '57 and Al Froehlich '57, former students of Norb, enjoyed lunch and memories with Norb in July. They report that Norb is in great health.

Norb, tomorrow is the big one, make it great. Our son Steve turns 55 tomorrow and he’s a teacher too, in Eugene OR. Yours, David Gladfelter, class of 1954.
