Author Rosemary Pollack Mild '53

Rosemary Pollack Mild ’53 and her husband, Larry, live in Honolulu, Hawaii, and are cheerful partners in crime. They have coauthored 16 works of fiction, including two Hawaii suspense novels; the Paco & Molly Mysteries; the Dan & Rivka Sherman Mysteries; and four books of mystery short stories. Their two newest novels received awards and 5-star reviews: Kent and Katcha: Espionage, Spycraft, Romance; and On the Rails, The Adventures of Boxcar Bertie, set in the Great Depression. Rosemary published Miriam's World—and Mine in memory of their beloved daughter they lost in the terrorist bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland (December 21, 1988). Many of her award-winning essays appear in her recent book In My Next Life I’ll Get It Right. She also goes to Jazzercise, which satisfies her suppressed desire to be a Rockette.
