What inspired your family members to choose Whitefish Bay Public Schools across generations? (i.e. traditions, a particular experience, or a shared value):
My parents moved to WFB in the 1950’s when my father was hired to teach at Shorewood HS. When my husband and I moved back to Wisconsin in 1987 after having lived in Denmark for a period of time, we wanted to settle in WFB mainly for the excellent schools.

How have your experiences as a Whitefish Bay Public School student, parent, or grandparent influenced the personal or professional journeys of you and your family members?
The superior educational experiences that I and all four of our children received from WFB schools prepared us for future success post high school and beyond.

In what ways has attending the same public schools in Whitefish Bay created a stronger bond within your family?
It has been fun to talk with my grandchildren about what Cumberland School was like when I was their age.

Any special memories or reflections that highlight the significance of this shared experience?
Stories are what binds families together. When we have shared experiences it further strengthens these bonds.
