Every fall district teachers may submit an Ed Nuss Grant Application to the WFB Education Foundation to help further enhance their classrooms and enhance their curriculum. This year a grant was submitted to update the elementary school main music rooms at both Cumberland and Richards, to include upgrading speakers and installing microphones. Upgrading the music rooms will allow the teachers to consistently use recorded music for listening and movement activities. The addition of the microphones will allow for recording and immediate feedback for student performances.
The Foundation is able to match up to $15,000 towards this project that will benefit elementary students throughout the district. When you donate now, your gift will be DOUBLED to go twice as far to help support the elementary music program. Time is of the essence as we would like to get this project completed before the start of next school year.
