Emily and Alison Pogorelc are both taking part in the production of Puccini's "La Rondine" at the Metropolitan Opera which began on March 26, 2024. Emily is singing the soprano role of Lisette to critical acclaim and Alison is working as the assistant stage director for the complex opera. The performance will be broadcast via the Met's Live in HD program in Milwaukee at 11:55 a.m. Central Time on April 20 at Marcus Theatres' North Shore Cinema in Mequon, South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek, Menomonee Falls Cinema in Menomonee Falls, Majestic Cinema in Waukesha, Silverspot Cinema in Brookfield. The Pogorelc sisters were featured in an April 15, 2024 article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
