Professional football player Nick Bellore '07

Brown (6-2, 225) is a seven-year NFL veteran who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round (239th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 87 games, making 34 starts and has caught 150 receptions for 2,000 yards and six touchdowns.

Last season for Washington, Brown played in 11 games with nine starts and recorded 35 receptions for 453 yards and one touchdown. Brown's one touchdown reception was a Hail Mary to defeat the Chicago Bears in Week 8.

Prior to joining the Commanders, he spent one season in Houston where he played in 10 games with seven starts and registered 33 receptions for a career-high 567 yards and two touchdowns.

Commanders re-sign LB Nick Bellore, WR Noah Brown, CB Noah Igbinoghene

The Washington Commanders announced today that they have re-signed linebacker Nick Bellore, wide receiver Noah Brown and cornerback Noah Igbinoghene,. Full terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Bellore (6-1, 220), a 14-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowl special teams selection, went undrafted and signed with the New York Jets prior to the 2011 season. He's appeared in 216 regular season games and totaled 91 tackles, 1.0 sack and two forced fumbles over the course of his career.

Last season, Bellore was signed to Washington's practice squad before Week 1 of the regular season and was promoted to the active roster a week later.

Bellore spent five seasons with Seattle (2018-23) and earned Pro Bowl honors as a special teams player after the 2020 and 2023 seasons. He played in four playoff games during his time in Seattle.

Prior to his stint in Seattle, Bellore played four seasons (2011-14) with New York Jets and two seasons (2015-16) with the San Francisco 49ers. In 2016, his second year with the 49ers, he started a career-high 10 games at linebacker and registered 77 total tackles, 1.0 sack and one interception on the year.
