Photographer in junior year for the Bugle American newspaper in Milwaukee and a pr photographer for Columbia Records senior year. Continued as a music photographer with 50 years at Summerfest and tours with many bands. Now married for 30+ years to my wife Claudia. At www.richzimmermann.com you can see my photo world where I do a blog every other Monday on music or auto racing at the Milwaukee Mile and Road America. My father is Carl Zimmermann who I never really bragged about in high school. He was a WWll war correspondent and started WISN-TV 12 before going to WITI-TV6 in 1959 and becoming news director until 1986. My wife and I just finished a book, "The Carl Zimmermann Story" on my fathers life!! Just a fascinating 5 year project and available from us with a dm or email.
