Over the past ten years, Whitefish Bay High School Theater has developed into one of the strongest theater programs in the state. Its motto, "Inspiring Passion" has led to the highest caliber production for both their plays and musicals, not to mention countless Jerry Awards for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Lead performances, and Outstanding Overall Design. More importantly than accolades, the theater program continues to be a place where students are supported, respected, and valued. With over 100 students participating in the theater program yearly, WFBHS Theater is a place where students can follow their passions, develop life skills, and make lifelong bonds that stay with them long after the final curtain has closed.

This season, WFBHS Theater has produced a fall play, Little Women, a winter musical, 42nd Street, and is finishing its season with a bang through a double bill: a 30-minute one act version of "Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" and Six The Musical: Teen Edition.
Each production this season explored a slice of history in an innovative, meaningful way:
- Little Women explored this age old story through the lens of Jo via a memory play.
- 42nd Street explored the age of Old Broadway with tap-dancing, glorious sets, and bright costumes galore.
- "Complete Works" explores the Bard through farce as our actors try to take on all 37 of William Shakespeare's plays in just 30 minutes.
-
Six The Musical: Teen Edition, a current Broadway hit, explores the wives of Henry VIII through a pop concert style competition, leading to their empowerment by the end.
If you haven't checked in for a while, spend some time checking out their website at WFBHSTHEATER.COM and consider coming to their spring double bill --you'll lose your head!
* The Jerry Awards are a state-wide program through the Overture Centre in Madison that celebrates excellence in high school musical theater
